61 Resident Doctors in JJ Hospital test positive City faces shortage of Resident Doctors

With Covid-19 caseload rising rapidly in Mumbai and causing a worrying situation in the financial capital, alarmingly, on Wednesday, 61 resident doctors tested positive at JJ Hospital. Counting on the 61 doctors, approximately 139 resident doctors across Maharashtra have tested positive for Covid-19.

According to Dr Avinash Dahiphale President, Maharashtra State Association of Resident Doctors,.already the City is facing a shortage of resident doctors. And with many others not on duty probably due to Covid, the shortage is bound to hamper patient care.

  1. What a shame that we are still not realising the seriousness of the situation. A total lock down is what we deserve. Sympathize with the Administration having to deal with this madness of covid. God help us.
