AAP wins 14 out of 35 seats, emerges as the single-largest party in the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation

The Aam Aadmi Party today, in a phenomenal electoral debut in the Chandigarh Municipal Elections, emerged victorious – winning 14 out of 35 seats, and becoming the single-largest party in the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation. The victory is a testament to the overwhelming public support that the AAP is garnering across India, due to the Party’s will to work for the betterment of the Aam Aadmi, it’s ability to deliver outcome-oriented policies addressing pertinent civic issues, and it’s emergence as the sole secular alternative for Indian voters.

It is evident that the AAP is the only political party today that can compete, and win against the Bhartiya Janata Party & its right-wing ideology – one that is fundamentally exclusionary, and tries to shift public focus away from the real policy issues that affect our citizens. The Indian National Congress has failed miserably, because it has repeatedly undermined its voters by backtracking on poll promises, and allowed itself to be engulfed by rampant in-fighting & corruption. “As public support swiftly rallies behind the Aam Aadmi Party’s growth across India, we are certain that the AAP will emerge victorious in the BMC Elections 2022 as well – as the only party that has provably delivered good governance, paved the way for outcome-oriented politics, and remained accountable to its citizens.” said Preeti Sharma Menon, National Executive Member & Mumbai Prabhari.
