The civil dispute between Actor Dilip Kumar and city’s top developer Samir Bhojwani has now reached at Economic Offence Wing door, Mumbai police EOW has registered a case against the developer Samir Bhojwani under various sections such as, Arms Act, cheating and forgery. The developer is now in a big legal problem. The dispute is very much old, the Pali Hill bungalow, Bandra where the legendary actor Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu is staying for the decades.

 
In his complaint the actor Dilip Kumar alleged that the builder was falsely claiming ownership of their plots Cts no 1395 & 1396 at Pali Hill, which the actor claimed he bought in September 1953 for Rs. Ten lakh. The actor also claimed in his complaint having all proof and documents to prove his ownership of the property.
 

 
On the other hand, Builder Samir Bhojwani claims his father Narain N Bhojwani bought the property in the 1980’s from the Mukraj Khatau Trust, stamp duty was paid in 1984, the registration of the documents took place ten years later in 1994., the trust also informed the actor because he held a lease on the property.

Economic Offence Wing of the Mumbai police has set up a team to investigate the case and they are also verifying both party documents, 10 year gap of the registration is very important in the investigation. This civil dispute basically on redevelopment project Samir Bhojwani wants redevelopment of this plot on a big scale but unfortunately he failed to convince the legendary actor Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu, in results he is facing legal challenges and troubles for the last so many years. Now police is searching him to record his statement in the recent FIR.
