NCB Mumbai in its continuous fight against Drug Suppliers and Peddlers in Mumbai, NCB Mumbai launched 02 operations & registered 02 cases on 17&18.04.2021.
In these operations, NCB Mumbai intercepted 03 persons at various locations and seized a total 220 gram of MD & 43 Kgs of Ganja and INR 20,05,000/-
Ops – 01:Â
On the basis of intelligence developed, NCB Mumbai seized 165 gram of MD from possession of Sarfaraz Quereshi @ Pappy resident of Agripada. During his house search INR 2,15,000/- was also recovered as drug proceed. Sarfaraz @ Pappy has been previously booked in NDPS case by ANC Mumbai. During spot interrogation he revealed that said MD was supplied to him by one Sameer Suleman Shama a resident of Nagpada. NCB team acted on information and searched house of Sameer and seized 54 gram of MD and INR 17, 90,000/- believed to be drug proceed. Sameer Suleman was not available at house, however NCB Mumbai is making efforts to trace him. Further investigation is in progress.
Ops – 02:Â
On the basis of intelligence developed, NCB Mumbai, seized 43 kgs of Ganja from a house situated at Badlapur and nabbed 02 suspects Sunny Pardeshi & Ajay Nair
. During spot interrogation it has been revealed that said consignment of Ganja was purchased from a person Kunal Kadu. The said Ganja was procured from state of Odisha. NCB is investigating to find the kingpin and supplier of Odisha.
NCB Mumbai is taking stringent legal actions against all kind of drug offenders in mission mode. In a short span, NCB Mumbai has busted an illicit factory of drug in South Mumbai area and dismantled a home growing unit of Hydroponics Cannabis in Dombivali area. NCB Mumbai is also keeping an eye on activities of history sheeters and previous drug offenders like Pathan Gang & Chikna Company of Dongri. Simultaneously NCB Mumbai is expanding its intelligence network to identify drug traffickers operating incognito on Dark web and social media sites.
