Brawl between owner and tenant has turned out to be a very common occurence amid the Covid-19 pandemic induced lockdown.

Mumbai: A new flashpoint has erupted in the ongoing tussle between Aparjita family parlour Proprietress Asha Rakesh Jaiswal and Owner of the Shop in Thakur Village Kandivli east.

News comes to light that Asha has become helpless as the Shop Owner is resorting to dirty practice of torturing her and asking her to vacate the shop. It seems to have crossed all boundries as on the night of 27th October, the shop owner and some local goons broke the lock of shop.

Asha immediately filed an NC at the Samtanagar Police station and reported the incident to the police .

While speaking to Hello Mumbai News, Asha narrated the entire episode.
“I have opened my Aprajita Family Beauty Parlour in Gokul Housing Society Limited, Thakur Village. The parlour has been acquired on rental basis and the agreement stands for three years with lock and key. I am paying rent of 26,000/- per month and have paid Rs.1 lakh as deposit. Moreover, I have also spent Rs.3.50 lakhs towards its renovation.

Like a bolt from the blue, the owner of the shop approached me with a notice to vacate the premises. Amid the lockdown. My parlour remains shut since March when the lockdown was imposed till August. I opened my Parlour in September. I am not getting any business and the adamant owner of the premises is no mood to listen to my vows. I am willing to hand over their shop provided my Deposit money and the expenses incurred towards its renovation is returned to me.

In a new development, the owner of the Parlour premises, Prem Shankar,Tiwari, his wife Arti Prem Shankar Tiwari and daughter Neha who have resorted to torture me and put pressure on me through the help of the local politicians to get my Parlour vacated.

I seek justice and appeal to all to give me justice. I.am willing to leave their premices but certainly not now. I need some time and no sooner I get another option will move.

Therefore, I appeal to Samtanagar Police to initiate legal action against those who broke opened the lock of my Parlour in my absence.
