Tahir Merchent, one of the main accused of the 1993 serial Bomb blast case died of Cardiac arrest. He was convict and was in Yerwada prison Tahir Merchent named Tahir Merchant was admitted in Sassoon hospital at about 3 am due to chest pain. He died in hospital during treatment at at about 3.45 am. This is second case of such kind earlier Mustafa Dossa also died due to heart attack in JJ Hospital Mumbai he was also convicted in the same case.
