Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 96 on Thursday afternoon.
The second-longest serving sovereign monarch in history died at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
Several immediate family members, including all her children, had travelled to be by her side.
The Queen’s doctors had issued a statement on Thursday morning, saying they were “concerned for Her Majesty’s health” and “recommended she remain under medical supervision.”
She had been suffering from what Buckingham Palace has called “episodic mobility problems” since late last year.
Hello Mumbai News Editor-In-Chief Aleem Sheikh and Team condole the passing away of the Queen.
