KVIC organized “Cleanliness Drive” in association with MCGM

Mumbai, 15.12.2017:Following the clarion call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and directives of Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India KVIC observed “Swachhta Pakhwada from 01.12.2017 to 15.12.2017, and organized a “Cleanliness Drive” in association with Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai(MCGM), in front of Vile Parle(W) Market near railway station on 15.12.2017. This campaign of KVIC aims to clean up the streets, roads of this city, create awareness among employees as well as common people.

Good number of officers and staff of KVIC with MCGM staff participated in this “Cleanliness Drive”. All staff of KVIC picked up brooms to clean up the litter left on the streets.

Earlier, KVIC has taken various initiatives like organising Workshops during this fortnight of“Cleanliness Drive”, in its Central & State offices across the country.  The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a massive movement that seeks to create a Clean India and this is the most significant cleanliness campaign by the Government of India.
