Even as Covid-19 continues to cost lives, Ngos and Individuals  have been  working tirelessly to help tackle the pandemic and support the most vulnerable communities that includes the poor and needy and the senior citizens.

They have been providing ration  kits medicine and hygiene kits.

They have also been supporting health centres, raising awareness about how to prevent outbreaks, and providing essential supplies even those residing in slums too.

Even with travel restrictions and lockdowns, they were in some of the hardest to reach places ensuring children and their families receive the vital care they need that included food kits, medicines and hygenic kits.

Amid the blissful blessings of Almighty Allah, Congress leader Haji Mudassar Patel celebrated his birthday in an unique style by  distributing School Text Book and stationery to the poor and needy students during this trying times of Covid Pandemic.

On this auspicious occasion  Mr. Patel while conversing  with Hello Mumbai News said, ” as we are all reeling through trying  time globally. The Pandemic has placed everyone in an alarming situation. Financial crisis is looming and besides unemployment, the middle class and the poor people  created major problem to middle class and poor people are placed in dire straits. That’s precisely the reason why I opted to not to celebrate my birthday with a party to my friends.

‘I look upon the students as the future of our Country and extend my best wishes for their successful career.

“Over and above I am into  charity projects and work for the poor and needy people

I have been working towards this right from day one of the outbreak of Coronavirus- Covid -19 Pandemic in Mumbai.

As of now I have distributed tons of rations kits to pandemic impacted people in Mumbai and adjoining areas such as Mumbra, Virar, Vasai and Kalyan. Although this pandemic is in its second year, my charity work continues”.

He feels that this is the best way to find yourself and to lose yourself in the service of others.

Who is Mudassar Patel :

Haji Mudassar Patel , is a Senior Congress Leader and a popular face in Muslim Community,  Good Samaritan and  Trustee of Kazi Masjid Trust Mahim.

He firmly believes in Social Service and Charity Work. Amid this pandemic he made a big chain in distribution of Ration Kits among thousands of poor and needy people. For his noble and generous cause he has been honoured with many prestigious awards from Canada India Foundation and many more.
