Ruling out a complete lockdown in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray Tuesday in his address at 8.30 pm said the state government will impose Section 144 for 15 days from 8 pm Wednesday. Emergency services will remain open between 7 am and 8 pm daily, he said.
The latest curbs come on a day when the state recorded over 60,000 fresh Covid-19 cases.
Here are the guidelines:
*Section 144 to be imposed in all places
*Services and activities mention in ‘essential category’ are exempted.
*All restaurants and bars to remain closed for in-dining. Home delivery services allowed.
*Local train and bus services for essential services only
*Petrol pumps, financial institutions associated with SEBI and construction work to continue.
*Cinema halls, theatres, swimming pools, gyms and sports complexes to remain closed.
*Shooting for film/serials/advertisements to be closed.
*Public places like beaches, gardens, open spaces etc shall remain closed.
*Religious places of worship to remain closes.
*Barber shops, spa’s, salons and beauty parlors to remain closed.
*All schools and colleges to remain closed.
