A State level inter colligate debate competition, was organized by K. G. Shah Law School, Mumbai, recently; where participants literally and figuratively attempted to demolish opponents vociferously. The event which was organized by Principal, Rakhee Gadhave, Vice Principal, Shoba Shivale, and adm support by Dipali Khavle, K. G. Shah Law School, had a choice of subjects, as wide as, “Bodily autonomy”: A fundamental human right; “The ailing nature of same sex marriages”: Myth or reality; “Data privacy”: Right or luxury; “CSR”: Charity /Marketing and “Artificial intelligence”: A war between humans and machines. 18 teams 18 teams participated, with two participants from each college; winners were KES College, Kandivali.
A journo with Hello Mumbai News; and legal advisor, with Prabhu Associates, Mr Edrich Miranda presided as a judge over the competition, and was surprised to find participants well informed and knowledgeable of the various topics, in comparison to the many other such competitions he presided over.
