BJP was invited to form the Govt by Governor in a post poll coalition.

_(So much so, 1 independent MLA was detained at Imphal Airport through security agencies & handed over to BJP.)_

Assembly Strength – 60.
Congress – 21.
BJP – 2.

BJP was invited to form the Govt by Governor in post poll coalition with NPEP+UDP+PDF+HSDPDP.

*Karnataka (May 2018)*

Assembly strength – 224 (222 elections held)
Congress + JDS – – > 78 + 38 = 116
BJP – 104

Inspite of Post poll coalition of Congress and JDS having enough number surpassing the half way mark was not invited to form the Government.
 

 
On the other hand BJPee was given a week’s time to prove the strength in floor test in a weeks time. On the basis of single largest party.

Now this is Called DEATH OF DEMOCRACY.
