Dharavi which is
Known as Asia’s largest slum in the world is taking very active interest for Bmc Elections 2017.As the voters of the area have lost their faith in all political parties as no development work has been done in the area.

This time they have fielded a candidate of their choice and who is not from a political party and has a clean image . Paul Raphel a well known social activist and popular among the common people is contesting the Bmc election from ward no 185. He says ” When we speak about Dharavi slum only poverty comes in our mind we want to change the thinking of the whole world about Dharavi.

Development , cleanliness and infrastructure will be my priority” , said Paul Raphel.

He conducted a rally in Kumbharwada area by cleaning of gutters which is a very rare thing done by any first time candidate it also shows his commitment and seriousness for his work, that’s why people of Dharavi supporting him.
