The whole country celebrated Christmas festival remembering Lord Jesus Christ, Midnight masses and carols in praise of Lord Jesus marked Christmas on Monday, worshippers across the country gathered in Churches and prayed. Smita Lloyed Pereyra the NCP party famous and active Taluka president of Vile parle West Minority cell also celebrated Christmas, she hosted a small and private Christmas party for her NCP workers and close friends at her home.

On this occasion she also appealed to Led Bjp government and PM Modi to not interfere in their religion, tradition and culture. Our Catholic community is very sophisticated and simple community we follow all rules and regulations of the country as others follow, but since Bjp have come in to power our community is feeling insecurity, now a days bjp has attack on our religious sentiments and tradition even they criticises our Christmas traditional dance, so my humble request and appeal to PM Modi to instruct the BJP to not interfere in our religious matter” Said Smita Pereira
