ED had registered PMLA case against Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi and others in the PNB fraud case. During the course of investigation, total 251 searches were conducted all over India . It led to Seizure of Diamond, Gold, precoius and semi precious stones,pearls etc. Attachments of immovable properties properties belonging to Nirav Modi Group and Mehul Choksi Group have been provisionally attached.Total value of seizures and attachment is Rs 7638 crore approx.

 
Joint search with CBI was conducted on 22.03.2018 at the residential premises of Mr Nirav Modi at Samudra Mahal. Search continued for 3 days and resulted in seizure of high end and antique jewellery valued at Rs 15 crores, high end watches valued at Rs 1.40 crores and paintings of approx. Rs 10 crores includes Hussain, Hebbar, Amrita Shergil. One ring is valued at 10cr.
