Mumbai: 40 year old woman has registered FIR for the offence of Sexual Harassment & Molestation Against the *Member & Secretery of Sexual Harrasment committee* and other 5 Higher officers namely:-

1.Mr.Amit Dongre – Labour Welfare Officer

2.Mr.Deepak Pednekar – Production Assistant & Secretory of Haffkine recognised union

3. Mr.Baban Dhekane – Dy.Manager Production & Secretory of Haffkine officer Association

4. Mr.Subhash Shankarwar – General Manager Production

5. Mrs. Sonal Sawant – Dy.Manager Production & Chairman of Haffkine Officer Association

6. Mrs.Shamika Padyal – Establishment Officer

Other accused gave threat of rape to victim also.

out of which One is accused is woman all they are working with Haffkine biopharmaceutical Corporation Ltd, Parel, Mumbai. Offence Registered for the offence U/s 354, 354(A), 354(D), 341, 509, 506, 507, 34 of IPC , FIR No 741/2022 U/s has been registered at Bhoiwada Police station, Accused not yet arrested, Victim was served as manger in the said institute.

Earlier this Haffkine biopharmaceutical Corporation manufacturing unit was a part of Haffkine Institute is a one of the oldest biomedical research institutes in the country. It was established in 1899 and is named after the scientist (Dr. Waldemar Mordecai Haffkine) who invented the plague vaccine. Since then, Haffkine Institute has emerged as a multi-disciplinary Institute engaged in training, research and testing of various aspects of infectious diseases. this corporation has been separated in 1974. now its semi govt corporation.
