Nagpada police has registered an FIR against four accused Kamran Zariwala, Mohammad Hussain, Raihan Reshamwala and Imran Solanki in the matter of Samina Kamran Zariwala case. All the four accused have been booked under sections 354, 354 (C), 406, 504, 506 and 34 IPC. Bewilderingly as yet no arrest has been made.

Notably, earlier the entire incident was covered by Hello Mumbai News on 29 Jan. 2022 as to how the Mumbai Central resident Samina Kamran Zariwala was gruesomely tortured and assaulted by her own husband Kamran Zariwala who absconded leaving her on on rented flat at Potiya compound. Hello Mumbai News also mentioned in the story how her husband tried to evacuate her with the help of local social workers.

Reportedly, Samina Kamran Zariwala had filed a written complaint on 21st Dec. 2021 at Nagpada police station. But for reasons best known to the police, they did not deem it to take the case seriously. When Hello Mumbai News covered the story on 29 Jan. and had placed the case before the Higher Authority, DCP Zone 3 Pramjeet Dahiya passed on instructions to the Nagpada police to forthwith register an FIR against all accused.

As per sources the accused Mohammad Husani is the brother of Main accused Kamran Zariwala and it is a known fact that Mohammad Hussain is famous for carrying out illegal constructions in South Mumbai’s B ward. There are many MRTP cases registered against him. Accused Imran Solanki is a local congress leader and very close to Congress Leader Bhai Jagtaap. Raihan Reshamwala is also a local leader of NCP in South Mumbai.

It is learnt that the prime role of all the four accused was to enter Potiya Compound with Kamran Zariwala and to threaten the victim to evacuate the rented flat in which she was the lone resident.

When Hello Mumbai News connected to investigative officer of this case Pooja Gagne, she refused to comment on it saying, she is busy.
