The Fire tragedy at a birthday party at “1 above” pub, Kamala Mills compound in which as many as 14 have been reported dead and 21 injured. Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation took it seriously and CM Fadnavis also ordered an inquiry into the matter saying strong action will be taken against the responsible official.

 
“We have suspended five officers I connection with the Fire tragedy , including health officer, engineers, fire officers, and assistant divisional officer, all of them were attached to the ‘G’ south ward ,” Said Ajoy Mehta Municipal Commissioner of the Bmc.
In yet another case the N.M Goshi Marg police also lodged FIR against the pub owners and Manager under section 304 IPC. Police have also started to record the statement of the accused.

According to the primary investigation by police and BMC, Negligence and violation of the Fire norms By Pub owners led to the death of 14 customers. The Fire started at 12.30 am on Thursday night in ‘ 1 above ‘ pub on the terrace and spread to “Mojo’s Bristo pub on the third floor one level below located in the Trade House Building in Kamla Mills compound Lower Parel. This incident also condemned by Pm and President of India.
