News comes to light of the collapse of a slab of the fourth floor of the five-storey building in Ulhasnagar, Thane District on Thursday morning.

Sources reveal in the collapse, four people are feared to have been killed in the incident leaving one injured.

The four feared killed were identified as included Sagar Occhani (19), Priya Dhanvani (24), Renu Dholandas Dhanvani (54) and Dholandas Dhanvani (58).

According to Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), Two people are reportedly trapped under the debris and a rescue operation is underway,

As per Ulhasnagar Tehsildar (Revenue Officer) Komal Thakur
a couple of other persons too are feared to be trapped in the debris.

Reportedly, local firemen, disaster management team, police, revenue and civic officials were pressed into service and started the rescue and relief operations.
