Mumbai: Mumbai Oshiwara Police have arrested a dreaded gangster Tareeq Praveen’s nephew Salman Praveen in an alleged rape of Bar Dancer.
While speaking with Hello Mumbai News API Kiran Pawar, Oshiwara Police Station disclosed “we have arrested Salman Praveen from Holiday Inn Hotel Jaipur. He was wanted in the case and we have already registered an FIR against him on 23rd October at the Oshiwara Police Station under section 376 (2) , N)( 417 and 380 in rape , Cheating and robbery case. We are on the way and the moment we reach we will produce him in court.
Complainant and victim Ritika Guta (name Changed as per SC guidlines ) while speaking over phone said, ” Accused Salman Praveen came in my contact one year ago and we came very close to each other and our releationship transformed into a serious love affair. He used to stay with me in my home and made a marriage proposal.
On 3rd October I had gone to Bengaluru. When I returned on 10th October, he was not at home. To my shock, I found my Locker empty. My gold ornaments, diamond jewelley were stolen. Immediately, I contacted him but he he ran away. So I approached the Oshiwara Police Station on 14th October and registered FIR.
I am grateful to the Oshiwara Police Station for their support towards me and for taking my case seriously.
She further claimed that the accused Salman Praveen is a professional offender, a womaniser and also involved in match fixing racket.He has previous criminial record in Bengaluru also.He has a sweet tongue and influences everyone in the name of his uncle Tariq Praveen.
