Ghatkopar based R city mall management has filed a complaint at Ghatkopar police station against the shopkeeper for Criminal Intimidation, Intentional Insult, Extortion, Cheating and Defamation. Mayur shah a shopkeeper has a shop at R city mall. Mayur was permitted to use and occupy shop on the Second floor of the said Mall on Leave & License basis which came to an end by efflux of period in year 2016. However at the specific request of the Mayur , the Mall permitted him to continue to use the said unit in good faith for a few more months. However, taking advantage of the Complainant’s goodwill gesture, he suddenly in and around 2013 filed applications with various Government authorities seeking information about the permissions and approvals granted in respect of premises in the mall as well as lodged complaints in BMC against the Complainant for alleged violations of permissions and approvals.As per the complaint filed by the R city mall management at the police station which says that Mayur was filing a different complaint against the mall in authority only to tarnish the image of the Complainant and with sole intention to harass, defame and extort money from the Complainant.
complaint stated that the Mayur in furtherance of his criminal and wrongful intent has also defamed the Complainant by making several false allegations/ statements/averments including making threats of dire consequences stating “8 din me dhamaka hoga”, and
“yeh to shuruwat hai. dekhate jao aage kya hota hai” which is proof of his nefarious and illegitimate demands of somehow making the Complainant give up its legitimate claims for the unpaid license fees and security deposit.

While speaking with Hello Mumbai News over Phone Zubeda shaikh senior police Inspector of Vikroli Police Station said, ” let me check the complaint will take action as per law “.
