National Railway Mazdoor Union Dadar Branch Secretary, Sajid Dharme says, “Our main demand is to fill the pending vacancy of 1.5 lac people and oppose the retired employee’re entry in the department means Government has taken the decision to fill the said vacancy with old retired employee.but our demand is that freshers should get a chance. We strongly opposed this decision, present government is not serious about the youth and unemployment why they are inviting old retire people for a railway job and why not giving the opportunity to newcomers? We want the pending vacancy must be filled as early as possible new comer should give the chance”.
Another senior leader and General Secretary of National Railway Mazdoor Union Mr. Vinu. P. Nair under which guidance the hunger strike called said, we have various demands one of them is oppose the New Pension Scheme and revoke old pension scheme because pension is backbone of every railway employee after his retirement secondly they should fulfill the vacancy which is still pending”.
