After the Southwest Monsoon arrived in Mumbai on Wednesday, 9th June, and Heavy Rains lashed the Financial Capital causing heavy water-logging in most of the places including rail tracks, IMD has issued Orange Alert at isolated places in the city for the weekend. An alert has also been issued for extremely heavy rain for Monday.

As per IMD forecast, a low pressure system is expected to form in 24 hours in north Bay of Bengal and very likely to intensify in the subsequent 24 hours. This will bring a lot of rain over Mumbai and Konkan in next 4-5 days
