Saturday was a very special occasion since Mumbai was the venue for the All India Congress Committee Minority Meet where the Mumbai Congress leaders and party workers got a chance to meet and interact with their National Leaders. Some of the big name who was present at the meet was Adv .Khurshid Ahmed (chairman AICC), Roshan Baig (Minister of Government of Karnataka) and all states party Presidents took part in this meet.One among the prominent speakers at the meet addressing the National leaders was Mr Nizamuddin Rayeen, Chairman Mumbai Congress Minority, in his speech he emphasized for national integrity and unity among the party workers. Many important and current issues have been discussed like the demonetization and the various civic and social problems people are facing in Mumbai and how congress workers actively help them to resolve effectively. Since the BMC Election 2017 is around the corner hence there was an intensive planning session on how the Congress party can come to power.
Mr.Kayyum Tamboli, North Central District President Minority Cell while speaking to hellomumbainews.com expressed that “This meeting was a great success since it was an opportunity where the activist and leader learned a lot from our Senior Party Leaders”. Further, he added that “We are fortunate having got the chance to learn something crucial from our senior leaders which will eventually help us in our future political career”. “The Mumbai event was overall a well organized and a well-planned one. The impact of the meet you will see in the forthcoming BMC Polls” he concluded.
The All India Congress Committee Minority Meet was also attended by so many Mumbai Seniors Congress Leaders as well which include former MP Sanjay Nirupam, MP Husain Dalwai, and Mr.Kripa Shankar Singh along with all district President of the Mumbai congress.
