OF THE INNERWHEEL CLUB OF BOMBAY NORTH
Inner Wheel Club of Bombay North is the 2nd oldest Inner Wheel Club of Bombay.
And is 59 yrs young. It was formed in the year 1964 and the Charter President was Late Mrs Uma Banerji and Charter Secretary was Mrs Zarine Kanji. Under the able leadership,the Club successfully grew in the years to come, Today Inner Wheel Club of Bombay North boasts of 63 members and growing.
Committed to service to mankind, the club has been involved in various projects
Both at District level and club level.
IWCBN takes complete care of its HAPPY SCHOOL
in Wagyachiwadi in Igatpuri. Which has 51 children from standard 1 to 4.
We are also reviving our support to All Saints Home for the Aged in Mazgaon
We will be conducting Cancer screening camps along with a reputed NGO, in the days to come
We will be conducting fund raiser through Art.
And several other projects.
Feeding the needy during the Pandemic was one such project and we continue to this.
And many many more.
At the District level, we have donated 160 trees to our Inner Wheel forest, which is the 2nd largest donation.
We shall soon be putting up a water cooler for the thirsty passengers at one of the railway stations.
We shall be supporting other District Projects too.
President Sanjukta Barik was Installed as the President of this Prestigious club at a full house
at the Malabar Hill Club, Mumbai, along with her team, comprising of
Hon Secretary Shilpa Bhartiya, Hon Treasurer Sangeeta Kulkarni, ISO Tasneem Nasrulla, CC Alefiya Khambatti and Vice President Shabnam Sesodiya.

PP Samina Kanchwala, Jayshree Lakhotiya, Smita Shah.

SANJUKTA ARUN
Sanjukta Arun is a Renowned Contemporary Artist based in Mumbai. She is a curator,
And Founder of La Aartemisia Studio and Gallery.
She has an MBA in Sales & Marketing and Dip in International business.
After a short stint in the Corporate sector, Sanjukta took to her inner calling and
surrendered herself to Art, about 28 yrs back and made it her profession.
She has carved a niche for herself in the art industry. . She has trained extensively in
Art.
She has held over 60 exhibitions, both in India and overseas
With 23 Solo shows, to her credit. Also 5 Online Solo shows.
She also curates High Profile Art shows.
She works extensively for the benefit of Cancer Bravehearts and Children with special needs.
She also conducts Art Therapy workshops with Corporates
Also conducted Art sessions for Rotary Club and Inner Wheel Club.
Has conducted art sessions for Dharavi school teachers, for the Rotary club.
She is passionate about Poetry and has published her writings in anthologies.
She is a trained ghazal singer and is trained in light classical music, with the Prestigious Suresh Wadkar’s Academy, Mumbai.
Sanjukta is excited beyond words about her new assignment as the President of one of the most Prestigious Inner Wheel Clubs in Mumbai. Looks to work in unison with her team and all her club members with a single motive and that is Service to the society.
