Mumbai Police busted another big insurance policy fraud and arrested Samrat Sengupta Director Shotformat Digital Production Pvt Ltd . Samrat Sengupta sent to police Custody.
Sakinaka Police on 4 th September registered an offence of cheating, fraud and beach of Trust against Niyateey Shah Managing Director Shotformat Digital Production Pvt Ltd and Samrat Sengupta Director Shotformat Digital Production Pvt in an alleged cheating case involving Rs 40 ,00,000 lakhs Insurance policy Fraud.
According to the FIR registred at Sakinaka Police station the Complainant Ashok yadav said that they had been paying their premium to Shot Format for 3-4 years, but there was a massive delay on the claims.and they failed to provide Insurance
As per the FIR copy Ashok yadav claimed his company Proservz DigiTech Pvt Ltd, paid 37,00000 lakh to Shotformat Digital Production Pvt Ltd for Insurance services but the company failed to provide any insurance services or refund the money.
After Yadav Filed an FIr against Niyateey Shah and Samrat Sengupta Police arrested Samrat Sengupta and served 41,(A) notice to accused no 1Niyateey Shah.
” we have booked both accused under section 420,406,409,and 34 of IPC Accused no2 Samratsengupta already in our police Custody our investigation is underway now we are inquiring another accused no 1 Niyateey Shah who is Managing Director of Shotformat Digital Production Pvt Ltd “,said Police Inspector-of Sakinaka police station.
