Lions Club, Vasai is part of Lions Clubs and a network of volunteers who work together to answer the needs for help in grave circumstances and Celebrate auspicious festivals.
This year Lions Club Manikpur, Vasai celebrated Diwali, the festival of Lights, with the project “Diwali” with the Adivasis. The project for the day was sponsored by Habib Patel Sir, President, Mohammadi Charitable Trust, Patel Farm House, Pelhaar, Sopara Phata, Nallasopara East at 3.00 p.m
The Beneficiaries numbered 255 and five sewing machine were distributed to the needy women.
Notably, Wockhardt Foundation donated medicine’s to Mohammadi Charitable Trust approximately costing Rs.90,000/=. The Kits that were distributed to the needy were as follows
Foodgrains, Sweets,Rangoli, Diyas
Oil, Sarees.
