Lockdown in Mumbai and Maharashtra extended till June 1 to contain spread of pandemic

In order to further contain the spread of Covid-19 infection, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray-led Maharashtra government on Thursday extended the lockdown in Mumbai and Maharashtra

The announcement comes hours after the state cabinet ministers, in a meeting, opined to extend lockdown-like restrictions for further two weeks in the State.
