On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited MNS Chief Raj Thackeray’s residence to take the blessings of Ganpati Bappa.
Earlier in June, Shinde had spoken to Raj Thackeray. The conversation sparked rumours of both parties coming together for upcoming BMC elections.
Notably, while MNS and BJP have not officially inked an alliance, they had an understanding to corner Shiv Sena and Maha Vikas Aghadi-led government.
Shinde also visited residence of senior Sena leader Manohar Joshi to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings.
