Maha CM imposes Night Curfew in Mumbai from March 28 as COVID-19 cases rises rapidly

In the midst of rapid rise in COVID-19 cases, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, on Friday, March 26, decided to impose night curfew with effect from 28 March, Sunday night.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray held an important meeting via video conferencing to review the Covid-19 situation in the state. All divisional commissioners, Collectors, SPs and senior doctors of district hospitals were in attendence.

The aim of the meeting was to formulate further strategies in view of the increasing cases of Covid-19 pandemic in the state.

All Malls will be shut from 8pm to 7am
