Major accident at Versova.. 2 rickshaw drivers dead.. several motor bikes.. crushed.. Enclosed.
Major accident took place today early in the morning at Versova yari road near Dominozs. The accident was so horrible Two auto rickshaw driver died on the spot. According to the report and CCTv footage of the incident during wee hours a water tanker was passing through this road suddenly the driver lost the control and rammed into auto rikdhaws which were parked by road side. Local people rushed to help them but unfortunately both driver died on the spot. The driver of tanker fled from the spot. Versova police registerd an FIR against the driver and began search to arrest him.
Speaking with ‘Hello Mumbai ‘Mr. Prakash C. Gidwani a well known social activist said, “RTO police and BMC is responsible for this tragic incident because unused Motor Cycles always parked near Dominoz and illegal incroachment by roadside is increased BMC ‘K’west is not serious about it, they are supporting to illegal parking Mafia ,today the incident occurred. I have written number of complaints to BMC and RTO police but they didn’t take any action against it .” we want special Inquiry on this tragic incident and responsible person must be punished Mr prakash .C. Gidwani said.
