The major setback to Nationalist Congress Party, senior and loyal party leader Aseef Bhamla joins BJP. 

Politicians are busy switching to other Parties before the BMC Elections. The latest to do so is famous and loyal NCP leader Aseef Bhamla who is very popular among party workers particularly in western suburbs for his hard work, who was holding the key post of District President, North Central District in a basic wing.

His decision to join BJP as their Maharashtra spokesperson after quitting NCP has shocked many politicians.Bhamla is a well-known politician among the common Mumbaikers because he was a grass root leader in NCP and a popular socialite in the city.

In an exclusive interview with Hello Mumbai he said, “Being a senior leader of the party he was been neglected by party’s senior leaders. The party didn’t take me in confidence for ticket distributions.”

I have given 15 Years of my Life and my blood and sweat to the party but could not get any government position in the previous government although our party ruled for 15 years in the state.

On District level party was not ready to listen to our problems.Our minority wing always creates trouble for me. Aseef Bhamla further alleged that the Minority Department targeted him and ignored him. He claims BJP Will give More justice to the Minority community and there is lots of scope in the party. I know Poonam Mahajan who is my rakhi sister and will be her strength in all her development plans.

Ashish is my good friend and I believe in him and his vision for Bandra which he has in his mind.

Leaving the party after 15 Years made Aseef Bhamla very emotional and sad but he is very hopeful for the New beginning of his political career.
