Land Allotted To Guru Nanak Hospital May Be Revoked By Uddhav Thackeray Govt Following Exposure Of Massive Illegalities

Even as the Principal Secretary in the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s office begins the probe against the functioning of the Guru Nanak Dev trust and Charitable Hospital, more and more murky dealings have begun to see the light of day
It all began when the then Government allotted land to the Sri Guru Singh Sabha (a public trust-Regd F-34) on 9/4/53 and societies regd 1291 dt 21/4/44 and measuring 16722.54 SQ. METERS (REFER SUBURBAN COLLECTOR LETTER -C/DEST-3D/379/3/3/2004 . VIDE ON 20/7/2009 REGISTRATION OF LAND REGISTRATION NO BADAR 15 -6542/2009)
THE said land WAS GIVEN TO Shri Guru Nanak Quin Centenary Memorial Hospital Trust- Guru Nanak Hospital- Bandra east Regd-no- E-4599- Bandra East. CTS NO 629/1238 SURVEY NO 341 without any transfer deed/agreement/Govt authorisation as in how can land allotted to one Trust be transferred to another Trust without due process?
And can it be transferred at all?
When questions were raised on the same by Trustees and others an attempt was allegedly made fraudulently to legalise a transaction that had never been sanctioned by the Government of Maharashtra in the first place and seems to have no basis in law
A COMPLAINT was filed AGAINST Trustee MANJIT SINGH BHATTI ON 19/8/13 FOR CLAIMING THAT ” GURU SINGH SABHA” IS NOW CALLED ” Guru Nanak Quin Centenary Memorial Hospital Trust- Guru Nanak Hospital- Bandra east” ON 20/7/2009 REGISTRATION OF LAND REGISTRATION NO BADAR 15 -6542/2009, AT BHOIWADA POLICE STATION AND IMPERSONATING AS “GENERAL SECRETARY” WHEN THE GENERAL SECRETARY in fact WAS a MR KULWANT SINGH U/S 405, 415, 416, 419, AND 463 OF IPC BY CHARANJIT SINGH CHADHA- GS OF GURU SINGH SABHA AND ADV ASHISH U MISHRA, SUBSEQUENTLY BY SWARJIT SINGH MEHTA DATED 22/2/16
SUMMONS for the same were issued BY BHOIWADA POLICE DATED: 29/2/16 TO MANJIT SINGH BHATTI
Manjit Singh Bhatti who is now General Secretary of the Guru Singh Sabha (do remember he was not General Secretary at the time he is alleged to have transferred the land) claims he is being wrongly accused and harassed
However the fact remains the Sri Guru Singh Sabha disputes the transfer process itself
Almost 18 acres of prime land seems to have been taken over by a Hospital Trust wherein the legal sanction is untenable; and since it abuts the most expensive commercial area of Mumbai in its Northern suburbs the suspicion is lakhs of crores will be made by unscrupulous scamsters in its commercial development
A large number of NGOs and others have prayed to the Govt Of Maharashtra that the allotment of land to the Guru Nanak Hospital be canceled and the land revert to the State!

Hospital’s Claims :

The report of the Gross criminal misappropriation of funds running into crores by The Guru Nanak Quin running Centenary Memorial Hospital Trust-The Guru Nanak Hospital, Bandra, gets murkier.

Hello Mumbai News took a chance to get the facts over a phone conversation with Mr. Sarbjeet Singh, Chairman, Guru Nanak Hospital

Amid the conversation Mr.Sarbjeet Singh claimed, “to be very precise, we have adhered to all norms and regulations thereof and the allegations levelled against hospital stands baseless and preposterous and merely to tarnish the image of the Hospital.

No doubt, we do admit of some issues that has cropped up about our Hospital. But, believe us, our land Title is crystal clear and we are in possession of all the documents pertaining to the land possession.

It is not something new that funds in crores are misappropriated through criminal procedures time and again. Actions are duly taken but it continues to be in operation.
