A massive fire broke out on 18th Floor at Kamla building located opposite Gandhi Hospital at Gowalia Tank, near Tardeo early Saturday morning.
Two persons were idied in the fire and several critically injured.

Reportedly the high rise is a ground plus 20-storey building. . The fire brigade personnel and police rushed to the spot after being alerted. Thirteen fire engines, seven water jetties, among others, were engaged to in the firefighting operation to douse the fire. The Fire Brigade Team tagged it as a level-3 major fire.

The injured persons in the were rushed to Bhatia Hospital.

As per reports the firefighting and rescue operation is still in progress.

According to Mumbai Mayor Kishore pednekar who reached on the spot said, ” 15 people have been rescued and admitted to Bhatia Hospital now the situation is undercontrol , our Fire bridgade teal still doing rescue opration.”
