Anil Kurmachalam an origin of Karimnagar, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, India is settled down currently in London UK.

Anil Kurmachalam landed in UK in 2009. No sooner he arrived, he dabbled into separate Telangana State Movement and gathered like minded Telangana NRIs in UK and formed the first NRI chapter of TRS party (current ruling party in Telangana) in 2010 and served as its Founder President.
He had actively organized and lead a peaceful demonstrations in front of the Indian High Commission to UK, London, near Gandhi Statue Tavistock Square. He had also organised different events to showcase the solidarity to the ongoing events in Telangana and to build pressure on the then Central Govt of India.
He has written several letters and submitted petitions to the Indian Govt through HCI and even personally to form Telangana as a separate State.
Simultaneously, he formed Non-Political Telangana organisations to promote the rich culture of Telangana on a foreign land, and even participated in Indian independence day celebrations organised by HCI, London.
Notably, he got himself involved in numerous charitable and welfare activities merely to support the poor and need locally and back home.
In order to build healthy and sportsmanship spirit and relations among the community and to encourage the local talent, he organised sports events.
Another noteworthy activity of Anil was to be of immense help to many NRIs who arrive in UK with lot of dreams especially students.
During the outbreak of corona pandemic, he helped many students with KCR Coupons to buy groceries and other essential items.
It has been ten years from now that he is very active socially and politically in serving the community in UK and back home in Telangana.
He has Organised business meets to link Telangana with UK for investment and other employment opportunities in Telangana.
