Mumbai: It’s a Major relief to Mira Road couple who notwithstanding the law of the Court for misbehaving with a government servant in uniform were granted bail by Thane Sessions Court. They had abused ,threatened and misbehaved with a Traffic Cop Krishna Dabade on Duty.
The couple were booked under various section 353 .186,169,170 and 506.of IPC
Reportedly the Couple had exchanged hot arguement over parking issue at Naya Nagar, Mira Road on 8thjuly 2021,They had parked their vehicle in “No Parking Zone”.
Because Traffic Constable Krishna Dabade Clamped their vehicle. Arguement started between both the parties and took a violent turn.
Following this incident Accused Arun Kumar Ratan Singh Chauhan was arrested and granted Bail and Accused Meena Rajput got Anticipatory Bail.
Gròunds on which Bail was granted:
1. The Video of the crime incident was viraled by police machinery and their staff. For the same evidence was produced in the court
2. Both the accused are permanent residents of Mira Road Thane, So no question arises that they will abscond or skip the trial
3. It is not a serious offence where jail custody is compulsory. It’s a mere argument between two Persons.
4. After getting interim bail accused No.2 Meena Rajput followed/abided all the conditions given by Honourable Sessions Court and she was present before Honourable Sessions Court and Police Machinery on every date.

While speaking with Hello Mumbai news over phone defense lawyer Mohsin Shaikh
said, “I am thankful to Honourable judge for considering my request and granting Bail to my client My clients are obedient citizens and they do not have any criminal record.But I am upset that the police department viral the video and damage my clients reputation.There was no any assault from my client but it was only a argument.My Fight for justice will be continued and I am sure that will get justice.
