Mumbai, 4th August 2023 – The Maharashtra chapter of MSME & Startups Forum – Bharat, a pan India organization founded by Dr. Manoj Kumar Shah from Varanasi, successfully concluded its prestigious conference and expo on MSMEs and Startups. The event, held at the esteemed auditorium of National Stock Exchange (NSE), witnessed a remarkable turnout of delegates and industry experts, garnering immense appreciation for its insightful sessions and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

Under the able leadership of Dr. Nayan Bheda, Senior National Vice President of MSME & Startups Forum, and with the support of Jayhesh B Khemka, State President – Maharashtra; Ms. Alpa Shah, State Vice President – Maharashtra; and Mr. Dhwani Mehta, State Secretary – Maharashtra, the conference was an overwhelming success.

 

Despite not being able to attend the program in person as Chief Guest due to pressing engagements in New Delhi, Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale ji graced the conference and expo virtually. He extended his warm support and encouragement by sending a thoughtful video message for all the participants, which resonated with everyone and added immense value to the event.

During his opening remarks, the esteemed guest of honor, Dr. Manoj Kumar Shah, emphasized the significance of Temples Conference and its potential to bring greater glory to India. He passionately appealed to every business owner in attendance to step forward and support at least one entrepreneur, thereby enabling more and more families to find sustainable livelihoods. Dr. Shah’s inspiring words resonated with the audience, reinforcing the importance of collective efforts in fostering entrepreneurship and uplifting communities across the nation.

Amit Parikh, the distinguished guest of honor, delivered short but an enlightening speech on the vast potential of Indian MSMEs and Startups in foreign trade. With great emphasis, he highlighted the significant contributions and opportunities awaiting small business owners from India to explore overseas markets. As a major initiative to further promote international trade, Amit Parikh made a groundbreaking announcement of a business delegation to Gulfood in Dubai under the banner “Farm to Foreign.” This delegation is poised to create new avenues for Indian entrepreneurs, enabling them to tap into global markets and foster valuable trade relationships.

During his welcome note to the audience, Jayhesh B Khemka enthusiastically took up the challenge of adding 10,000 new members from Maharashtra to the forum. The response from the audience was nothing short of remarkable, with resounding applause and an immediate promise to support and share the challenge alongside Jayhesh B Khemka. The collective commitment displayed by the audience further reinforced the forum’s mission and its impact on the MSME and Startup community in Maharashtra.

The lineup of eminent speakers included Shri P.M. Parlewar, Director in MSME-Development & Facilitation Office, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, who shed light on various government schemes available for MSMEs, leaving the audience enlightened and motivated.

Dr. Harish Ahuja, Head of Product & Strategy Development at National Stock Exchange (NSE), spoke on NSE Initiatives For MSME & Startups, sharing valuable insights for the participants.

Guest of Honor, Shri Rajendra Upadhaya, Chief Growth Officer of Choice Insurance Broking India, delivered a compelling talk on hyper-growth through Dharma, offering small and medium business owners a new dimension to scale their businesses.

Smt. Usha Bajpai, National in-charge of GeM Portal, enthralled the audience with in-depth knowledge on how businesses can offer their products and services to government departments and agencies.

A noteworthy session featured Shri Mahavir Pratap Sharma, engaging in a one-to-one chat with Dr. Nayan Bheda on critical aspects of Angel Funding and Compliance challenges for Startups. The lively and meaningful discussion between Mahavir Sharma and Dr. Nayan Bheda received high praise from the audience, with Mahavir Sharma advising startups, “If you do not need funding, do not raise money from investors.”

The conference received heartfelt appreciation from the delegates for its enriching experience. The esteemed speakers, prominent industry leaders, were highly acclaimed for their valuable contributions.
