Mumbai: In this day and age not all come into focus and be in the news and limelight. But proudly, one Mumbaikar has become a focal point. He is none other than Nitesh Kumar Sinha, Station Manager attached to the Sewree railway station. It is for his noble gesture in following the Swachch Bharat Abhiyan” an i initiative of our Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Recently, Nitesh Kumar Sinha was honored with the prestigious “Mumbai  Ratna” award at the hands of Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari. Sinha is the first railway employee to bag such a prestigious award.

Amidst the Covid-19 induced lockdown, Nitesh Kumar Sinha scripted history through his creative work by painting the walls of the Sewree Railway Station.

Hello Mumbai News Team took the opportunity to catch up with Sinha for an exclusive chat.
In the conversation Sinha stated ” I whole-heartedly express my gratitude to all those who stepped forward to support and encourage me towards this noble cause.

Ever since the outbreak of the Covid-19, since I swung into action and launched this Swachh Bharat Abhiyan campaign. During the entire year I painted all the walls of Sewree Railway Station with a beautiful and worthy message.

After seeing my work amid the one year they stepped forth to support me.
As of now there is a sea-change in the entire look of Sewree Railway Station. This attracted some NGOs who also came forward to support me. Now I wish to accomplish my Mission in making Sewree Railway Station a role Model Station”.

Notably, Sinha feels extremely happy in accomplishing his Mission successfully.

Meanwhile, Sinha appeals to one and all to extend their support towards Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Campaign which will change the image of our city.

No doubt, his mission towards a noble cause and this campaign has blessed Sinha.
