on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse And Illicit Trafficking, Mumbai police’s Anti Narcotics Cell organized various social awareness campaign in different parts of the city along with various colleges and social institutions. This awareness campaign led by Mumbai Super Cop DCP Datta Nalawade who is in charge of Mumbai ANC . The main highlight of this awareness campaign was that it was attended by all ANC Units officers from Bandra ,worli,Ghatkopar and Azad Maidan.
While speaking with media on the occasion Mr.Datta Nalawded said,” our Mumbai ANC team working hard to control this drug nexus and in last many years we busted so many big international drug racket we conducted many big raids and operation against drug Mafia this campaign is also social campaign to create awareness again drug abuse, we also need a support from people so that we both can work together and am sure positive result will come soon,”.
During the campaign college students from Chetna College and K.J .Somaiya collage played a very important role .National Centre for Performing ART students also participated in this awareness Campaign and created awareness through their Noatak play. NCB Officers distributed posters and pamphlets among people about drug awareness.
