Mumbai: Notably,Jitendra Jain is a multifaceted personality. He is a President of Shri Sudharm Jain Navyuvak Mandal. State Vice president at Confederation of all India Traders(CAIT).Joint secretary of Raipur Sarafa Association and Treasurer of BJP Purani Basti Mandal.
While talking to Hello Mumbai News reporter Neha Singh over phone on his experience and Charity Work amid the Coronavirus pandemic lockdown, Jitendra stated that the epidemic Covid-19 pandemic started showing up in his district in mid March.
He further said that Raipur Sarafa Association has distributed ration kits to 2000 families for 3 to 4 months. They have set up the “KNEE REPLACEMENT CAMP” and they have done online registration for the camp. Members of Sarafa Association have also donated to “KNEE CAMP” from which Knee replacement operation of eight patients had been possible free of cost, whereas one operation costs Rs.1,42,000.
He further says till now they are still providing Ration Kits, sanitizers ,masks to the citizens of Raipur. In fact they has also distributed “Gud Pani” (Jaggery Water) and regular food packages to the policeman and many workers who are working in red zones.
In Raipur district, the population of one zone is 22 to 25000. Among these they have help the needy people and solve their problem by donating ration kits and providing medical facilities. They have also Santized area from Sadar Market Kotwali to Sattibazar Halwai Line Edward R.S Road.
Adding on he mentioned that while distributing ration kits in red zone areas, they had taken all possible precautions. None of their member was affected by Covid-19.
Infact, this Pandemic gave an opportunity to Mr Jain to get connected with his Association Members. He got attached with his members, and enhanced their enthusiasm to help people.

He expressed his gratitude to his Association Members for working hard during this pandemic.
He stated that due to Covid-19 the business sector has suffered heavy losses. Catering, Lawn,Clothing and many other business has been severly affected.
Talking about the present scenario in Raipur, he reports that there are 100 to 150 new cases on daily basis. On the brighter side the recovery rate continues to rise and it now stands at 67%.
He went on to elaborate that government has been trying its best to keep people safe. But the people are not able to follow the rules properly. According to him there should be more awareness created among the people on this covid-19 pandemic. He believes that firstly “we need to keep our lives safe and alive . If we’re alive then only we can do it ourselves and of our family. Hence, right now our first priority is to be safe from Covid-19 pandemic.
In the end, Mr Jain humbly requests the
people to follow government’s strict rules and regulations and take proper precautions by wearing mask, use of sanitizers and maintain social distance.
