Drug Dealers, Suppliers and Peddlers have been causing considerable repercussions and challenges to the global community’s peace and law and order at large.
Concerned over the alarming rise in the peddling of drugs and drug abuse and in their bid to counsel drug addicts, the
popular places of worship in South Mumbai, the Juma Masjid near Crawford Market and Bilal Masjid at Grant Road have initiated that the clerics and imams would take the lead in counselling the addicts, and generate awareness on the ill-effects and consequences of drug abuse and its consumption.
On Saturday, it being the World Anti-Drugs Day, the buoyant and dynamic NCB Zonal Director, Sameer Wankhede attended the meetings held at the two Masjids.
