Mumbai: Lions Club’s Habib Patel, a human being and humane for humanity shares his views on the present scenario in the country with Hello Mumbai News reporter Syed Nazia.

Mumbai: Amid suffering, agony, brutality going around the world, what keeps it revolving is goodness and kindness. This has been the contribution by Habib Patel who is a part of Lions Club Foundation. He also runs Mohammadi Charitable Trust which he floated in the year 2005 that purely runs on the money funded by him , his family and friends. He has immensely contributed towards humanity and is a very generous man.

He is also the founder of Mohammedi Urdu Primary School which has 450 students. He doesn’t charge any fees and the students who are enrolled are mainly from poor and poverty driven households.
He provides them with daily breakfast, uniform, books and the essentials that required and utilized by a student. This form of education is given to them upto the grade of standard VIII. This facilitates those who are unable to have secondary education will atleast have the basic literacy and exposure to understanding of primary education.

His another gesture is towards the widows. Inorder to help them with financial stability he provides them sewing machines to enable them to make a living for themselves. This way they can be independant and fund their basic amenities.

They also conduct progamme for the adivasis during Diwali and gift saree, blankets etc .This is an annual program organized and conducted by them .

The lockdown had shut everything except their zest for humanitarian aid. Below is their contribution on humanitarian grounds.
All the work done during lockdown

Amid the Covid-19 out-break and lockdown Mohammadi Charitable Trust chalked out ways to help those in need….

1: 100 ration kits at the from day one of lockdown

2: 7500 cooked meals distribution daily for the first 25-27 days in different places like (pelhar, dhaniv bagh mosque , Soparaphata, bilalpada, Santoshbhavan ,gangadipada , shantinagar)
3: 2000 ration kits distributed during lockdown
4:600 cooked meals still being cooked in Bilapada Nalasopara 50 days up.
It’s an anazing feature how they contributed so much? Looks like they are angels deputed by God?
A blessing in disguise in human form.

They even run free medical camps to ensure that health and hygiene of the people are not affected. As the scarcity of water has always been a problem in the remote areas they have even started free water distribution to everyone.

The list of their good deeds just goes on increasing with each passing day. They have even donated 2 dialysis machine to Mohammadi Dialysis Centre. This has been their blessing to mankind.

With the surge in the spread of the infection, they have taken up the onus of operating 2 ambulances on road for emergency purposes so that no one is denied the right for treatment at the right time .
