Mumbai: Mahendra Kini, Lions Club of Saphale comes forward to support lockdown impacted people with their motto “We Serve”.

Mumbai: India is on the cliff ’s edge of an imminent downgrade in the backdrop of Coronavirus  outbreak and lockdowns that have derailed fiscal discipline and are biting into growth.

Many people including the poor and needy are placed in dire straits with no money for food. Many NGos and Socio-Cultural organisations have been doing selfless service in distribution of food and essential commodities

Needless to say  Lions Club spread across the country always rise to noble and deserving causes with their motto “We Serve”.

Even in the ongoing nationwide lockdown, Lions Club of various places in .Mumbai have very graciously surged forward to help the poor and needy people with distribution of food kits and other essential commodities.

And now in close view of the present grave situation of Covid-19
Considering the present situation of Covid-19 Lions Club of Saphale plunged into its charitable a activities.

Lions Club of Saphale Member Mahendra Kini steps forward to share his views and his support to the pandemic impacted people in lockdown.

Notably, Lions Club welcomes people of all religion and professions without any degree of discrimination who want to serve needy people without anything in return.
Needless to say Lions Club spread across the countries always come forward to help people.

Lions Club of Saphale came into existence in the year 2006-07 and is still going strong by working in Saphale region of Palghar Taluka. The unit is serving tirelessly around 30 to 40 villages in the vicinity of Saphale Town.

Mahendra said” during this pandemic his Club has served the community, through distribution of Medical help to PHCs and local villagers. Even Date Club has done many charitable projects amid lockdown and before lockdown Club participated in “Jeevan Daan “ project of District 3231 A3 with a contribution of Rs. 25,000/-

Predominately in this lockdown period Lions Club of Saphale has donated PPE Kits to PHCs at Saphale, Edwan and Makunsar villages.
Also distributed 2000 Masks and 300 Sanitizers bottles to the individual needy and tribal people from Saphale Vicinity.

Mr Mahendra Kini’s message to the people is ” we all have to learn to live with this by following our ancient basics of personal hygiene. This epidemic is going to affect each individual in terms of health, business , education and their daily livings. So we should stand united to face this crisis.

According to him at present Government is doing their best to control the crisis. Considering the huge population of our country, till date, we are successful in controlling and treating this virus.

Now the onus rests on the responsibility of Citizens to improve their habits and behaviour regarding personal hygiene and physical distancing.

Remarkably, Lions Club of Saphale has been serving the people in this rural area since the past 15 years.

He went on to add that we have some permanent projects in mind, viz., providing permanent sanitization of stations, at public places like, bus stands, weekly markets. , creating awareness regarding SOPs and to contain amid the crises.

He further added that unlocking is no doubt correct to regulate economical stream of nation. But people need to be more careful to control the spread of virus.

Unlocking India is for bigger challenge than staying locked.
