‘Feast of Breaking the Fast’, also called the “Festival of Breaking the Fast” or Lesser Eid, or simply Eid,is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. The date for the start of any lunar Hijri month varies based on when the new moon is sighted by local religious authorities, so the day of celebration varies by locality.

Hello Mumbai News Correspondent Janvi S. Panjwani had a Conversation with Iqbal Memon a Famous Muslim leader about how Muslims should celebrate Eid in this amid pandemic in which Mr Iqbal Memon said, ” If life is safe then we can make many Eid as much as we can ,but today there is a dangerously disease (Covid-19) going on in the country, so we all should be alert from this Covid and if we all are gathering and celebrating Eid and if incase one person finds the symptoms of Covid, then that person will not suffer alone ,his whole family will suffer, if it is a loss than it’s a loss of whole society so we should stay safe and it’s better we should to read namaaz at our home itself ,and one should take all the safety measures to stay safe”.

He further added, “From 500 Memon Jamaad and 15 lakhs Menon’s we all wish you a very Happy Eid Mubarak .”
