Thanks Mumbaikers for their support to #MahaMorcha against CAA, NRC NPR.
On behalf of ‘Alliance against CAA NRC & NPR’ we are grateful and extend our gratitude to each and everyone who came to Azad maidan on 15th Feb in support of our common intention. We are also grateful to all the NGOs, activists, religious leaders, OBC SC, STs & VJNT leaders and also people who could not attended the Mumbai’s #MahaMorcha at Azad Maidan on Saturday but strongly stood in support of the common cause.
Specially, we are thankful to our women who are the torch bearer of this movement all over India. Words are not enough to appreciate that despite heavy traffic and other responsibilities they traveled for hours to reach Azad Maidan.
We extend our humble gratitude to all Dalit, Adiwasi, Banjara, Valmiki and other Backward communities for their firm strong support.
We are thankful to Mumbai police and administration for their support and media for the coverage.
This is the begining of a peaceful, democratic and organised agitation against CAA NRC and NPR.
We also would like to inform people that we had invited one politician from each political party in Maharashtra.
We have recieved confirmation of name of Congress, NCP, Samajwadi Party, Shiv Sena about their leaders Participation.
We therefore did not contact other leaders of Congress, NCP SP and Shiv sena. However, it is needless to say that we openly called and requested everybody who is affected or aggrieved by this ‘Kala Kanoon’ to join our agitation.
We, therefore, urge the Maha Vikas Aghadi Government of Maharashtra to pass the resolution in the assembly against CAA.
To stop implementation of NPR in the state.
To withdraw notices and cases against peaceful and democratic protesters.
