Mumbai : Coronavirus has explosively spread in Mumbai and is causing grave concern from health point of view. Many prevention tips have been advised by the Health Department. However disinfection and sanitization is vital so as to reduce the chances of contracting the COVID-19 virus.

In this regard, the BJP Corporator Jaya Satnam Singh Tiwana, Ward No.47 alongside her son Tajinder Singh Tiwana, President of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha, stepped forward in distribution of more than 40 santization machines all over Mumbai amid lockdown.

Hello Mumbai News Team chanced to rope in Corporator Jaya Satnam Singh Tiwana on Sanitization, one of the major keys to tackle this coronavirus pandemic.

In an interaction with Hello Mumbai News Team over the phone, Jaya Satnam Singh alongside her son Tajinder Singh Tiwana made it known that public places as well as local areas are the one of the prime locations where sanitisation is a must and therefore the mother-son duo took up the task to provide sanitization machines all over Mumbai.

Jaya affirmed that prior to the lockdown around 10th March, they acquired sanitisation machines and alongside her son, distributed 35 machines at different locations in Mumbai and they kept five machines for use in her ward.

Continuing, she said she has also been running a community kitchen since 24th March and as of now, daily, she has been providing ready to eat food for a minimum of 1000 people. The community kitchen has also been serving food to police personnel, BMC Officials, security guards, labourers and the homeless who are on duty as warriors to fight the Covid – 19 Pandamic war in different societies in her Ward-47.

She also exclaimed that in lockdown 2.0, RSS workers assisted her to a great extent in providing food for the needy people.
She also said that it is of prime importance to provide free ration to the people who genuinely need it. Thus, she has distributed 1100 grocery kits to all the widows and to the needy people.

For Jaya Satnam Singh, her achievements are her efforts which has helped her get various facilities and services for the general masses. As a social and political representative, she has worked on a lot of issues and have been a part of every achievement.
