Mumbai: With the deadly Coronavirus spiralling day-to-day with many damages to lives and with the subsequent extension of the lockdown till May 3, several people are placed in hardship financially and are struggling to come to terms and to make their ends meet.

At such a critical juncture several socio-cultural organisations, influential people and Ngos have been extendeding an helping hand in the war waged by the virus. Be it distribution of daily essentials, medical kits or financial aid, many are trying to do their bit.

Now Dharavi Nagrik Seva Sangh,an NGO in Dharavi at this critical Quarantine time of Coronavirus have been incessantly helping the needy with distribution of essential items.

Through such distribution, they have helped nearly 2200 people by distributing household kits and daily food packets to almost 1200 to 1300 people. They are ceaselessly helping the areas in Dhobhi Ghat, Jeevan Jyot, Maria Mandir, Kamala Nehru Nagar, Lal Chawl, Transit Camp, Vijay Nagar and some other sensitive parts in Dharavi.

The organisations are also helping the migrants from Jharkhand, Bihar and other parts of the country.
We have got some kind donors, also got help from our Churches, Rotary Club and some NGO.

The volunteers of the organisation who are tirelessly working for such a needy and deserving cause are Mr. Siddharth Medhe, Mr. N. R. Paul, Mr. Ayub Shaikh, Mr. Zubair Quereshi, Mr. Tarun Das Swamy, Mr. Jagan Bhosale, Mr. Mohan Kunchikorve, Mr. Shashikant Shirsekar, Mr. Raju Tonpe.
There are few other people who need to be mentioned for their kind help and support for such a deserving cause.
