Mumbai: Canada based bussinessman  Hemant Shah  appeals to Government to desist from playing dirty politics with the hapless migrants rendered jobless and penniless.

Mumbai has eventually turned as a magnet for migrants and the financial capital now presents a melting pot scenario.

Deporting Migrants to their native place inevitably turned out to be a big issue for the Maharashtra Government.

Notably, Mumbai’s migrant crisis hit the headlines in social media and grabbed international attention.

Pathetically, Our Government agencies, Central Government and Maharashtra Government have somehow proved an utter failure to control this rather grave situation. I

At this critical situation , Hello Mumbai News Reporter Amreen Shaikh availed an opportunity for a discreet an exclusive overseas interview over phone with NRI, Winnipeg, Canada based Hemant Shah.

Speaking to Amreen Shaikh, Mr. Shah expressed his discontent and appealed to Government to desist from playing dirty politics with the hapless migrants who have been rendered jobless and penniless.

Further, sharing his views on the miserable scenario in the country, Shah exclaimed that overall, the situation is excruciating for all the migrants and our heart bleeds out for them . Its not only India, butnmore so particularly Mumbai.Shah has seen Mumbai in several different phases and the only common thing he could figure out is all the Mumbaikars have by and large been united in all the difficult situation. Its extremely distressing to see the migrant workers sitting at the Kurla station with their families and infants or making it by foot or on a bicycle to reach their home state.

Opening up on the Migrant workers, Mr. Hemant Shah says that Migrant labourers have been extremely obliging towards Mumbai and its business Their contribution has been to a large extent towards Mumbai’s economy.

After all this, now, when they needed our support, they were shown the backdoor and abandoned.

Chronically, in slum areas like Dharavi, due to inadequate space, its not possible for people to maintain social-distancing at all. We let their morales down. Its our duty to contribute to them in this despotic situation, he summed up..

Further he expressed his anguish over the Politicians saying that they should stop playing their politics.

The present situation in our country is similar to the Second World War, and none were prepared for it. Super powers like America and Russia failed to fight Corona Virus until now.

Why politicians have to play their politics here? Where is Humanity? Common people need support and this is the only significant thing that anyone can think of in this state of survival. Social-distancing is the vital key precaution to fight Corona Virus. This is the main problem in India to maintain because of its massive population. It is a known fact that there are limited beds and facilitates in India. In this case, everyone should work together and accept the fact of failure in terms of providing better machineries and services instead of throwing darts on each other. This crisis has driven Mr. Shah to impotency.

Meanwhile, Mr. Shah appeals, “There are many people, NGOs and Corporators trying their best to provide all the support to the stranded migrants and underprivileged in all best possible ways, which infact is a very positive sign in this negative situation. We all must try spreading this positivity by coming out of our comfort zones and stride to support this deserving cause by spreading some humanity amid this precarious situation.”Shah signed off.
