Mumbai :   BMC Local Corporator, Ward No. 210, Mazgaon, Mrs. Sonam Manoj Jamsutkar, while speaking to Hello Mumbai News reporterJui Jadhav, said she has requested the Government to take some actions for the fast movement of the migrant workers.

She also said that whenever she receives any information about causalty from her ward, she ensures that beds are made available for the new patients. She further said that special medical camps are organized in her ward so that people can get them checked free of cost. If there is any serious causality the patient is shifted to Nayar hospital or Kasturbha hospital.

She also requests the Government to take some quick actions for fast movement of the migrants who are making it by foot to their native place. How many days will they keep walking and how many more kilometers. Some measures need to be taken quickly.

Sonam Manoj Jamsutkar ensures that no one in her ward sleeps empty stomach. Thus she distributes food grains to the poor people. The distribution was done amid safe social distancing among the people. Sanitary Napkins were also distributed to women’s. During this lockdown women’s find it difficult to go out of the house, Sonam Manoj Jamsutkar understood the problem and distributed free sanitary napkins to every women. She also said that if the patient has toilet-bathroom in the house itself, the family members are kept home quarantined, otherwise they are kept in Bombay international Hotel or DB Reality club.

She shared that our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, Respected Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray , Health Minister Rajesh Tope are doing their best to save the country form this pandemic, but it seems that people are not supporting them, they are not yet getting serious about the issue. It’s high time that they should become serious and understand the situation.

She also complained that despite of the IPS, IAS, Doctors, BMC officials working for the people, they are receiving no support. In spite of telling the people so many times to maintain social distance at the market, they gather around and crowd is thus gathered. They should listen to the police and maintain social distancing. She also shared that the Police and Doctors who are serving during this pandemic, once returned home after their duty should stay home and not come out of their houses.

In Mazgaon area almost 60-70% positive cases patients have been discharged and sent home safely. Thus lastly she also requests those people who are roaming out without any reason to stay home and support those who are helping in this pandemic.
