Mumbai: Mumbai Premlila Vithaldas Polytechnic, SNDT Women’s University celebrated its Inter-Collegiate Festival
KSHIRAJ 2020, a three-day festival from 11th February 2020 to 13th February 2020.
The theme for Kshiraj was the vision of Colours which ensembles unity in diversity, equality and harmony. 30 colleges and 150 participants from all over Mumbai participated. 24 Inter-Collegiate individual and group organized events like story writing, creative writing, stand up comedy, solo dancing, solo singing, rapid-fire, hog up, Mr and Ms Kshiraj, Master chef, Rap and beatboxing, still life Photography, Rangoli, Mehendi etc. and fashion show, street play, and group dance.
The highlight of the group event was the fashion show based on the Theme of Violence against Women by the students of the Ophthalmic Technology Department of Premlila Vithaldas Polytechnic.
The festival also included live performances by Ishaan Khan, Sunburn Campus by DJ AKADE and the band performance by Safaquat Ali and team.
The inaugural function of Kshiraj was graced by the eminent industry experts and celebrities like Mr. Bharat Ajwani, Managing Director, Tecnik Valves Pvt. Ltd and Sindhi chambers of commerce as a Chief Guest, Mr. Mehmood Ali, Film Producer and Mr Arun Mhatre, renowned poet and songwriter. The popular faces who graced the occasion as judges were Shivankita Dixit, Veena Papan, and Rahil Khan.

Dr Sachin Laddha, Principal, Premlila Vithaldas Polytechnic said, “I feel very happy and content that our college is able to provide a platform for youngsters to unleash their talent. I am impressed to see the awareness and sensitivity to the social issues among them. We as a skill-based institute always encourage and promote such talents and will continue to do so.”
